Yet across these journeys, young people rebuilt daily rhythms, regained confidence, reconnected with others, and found their own paths toward education, work, and social participation.

CASE 1From Isolation to Public Service
After nearly 10 years at home, she returned to study, earned a childcare qualification, and now works in public service.

After withdrawing in junior high, outreach support and peer connection helped him re-engage, graduate, and begin a career in the Self-Defense Forces.

After academic struggles and leaving high school, he rebuilt confidence through a new learning path and now works at a ward office.

After school refusal, bullying, and a failed study-abroad attempt, he regained confidence, entered Aoyama Gakuin University, and later joined a major IT company.
